Jeff Rindler

Jeff Rindler is the Director of the Volunteer, Work and Wellness Center at GMHC where he provides leadership and vision for the agency's Volunteers, Workforce Development Center , Meals Program, Nutrition Counseling and Wellness Services program staff and clients. Mr. Rindler joined GMHC in 1993 and for five years provided support to Meals and Therapeutic Recreation Program in his role as an Assistant Coordinator. In 1998 he joined the Volunteer Center where he interview, trained and placed over 700 volunteers for the varied HIV/AIDS programs at the agency. In 2003 Mr. Rindler created and implemented the first comprehensive Transition to Work Program at GMHC. Mr. Rindler is a member of the SEEDCO/N-PAC EarnFair Alliance, a coalition of workforce development service providers committed to ensuring that New York City 's most vulnerable have access to meaningful opportunities to succeed in the workplace. He is an active member of the New York City Employment & Training Coalition (NTCE&TC), and is a Board member of the National Working Positive Coalition. He also serves as a member of the New York Association for Volunteer Administrator (NYAVA), and is a member of AIDS Nutrition Service Association (ANSA). He is currently on the Benefit Committee for Only Make Believe (OMB), an organization dedicated to bringing laughter and joy into the lives of critically ill children through interactive theater.
