Carrie Podolsky, LCSW

Carrie Podolsky is a licensed clinical social worker and has been in the social work field for 8 years. Carrie currently is the Director of Employment Services at Chicago House and Social Service Agency. She has been with the agency for four years starting as the manager and moving into the director role in 2014. Chicago House and Social Service Agency serves individuals and families who are disenfranchised by HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ marginalization, poverty, homelessness, and/or gender nonconformity by providing housing, employment services, medical linkage and retention services, HIV prevention services, legal services, and other supportive programs. The Employment Program provides training, career counseling, and mentorship to help individuals achieve greater self-sufficiency and productivity in the workforce. Carrie launched the DRS Community Partner Program in July of 2015 and oversees the TransWorks program which was started in 2013 offering employment services to transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
